I was stranded at JFK in NYC. My flight was changed to La Guardia. I had to make a quick reservation at the ticket counter. Quick convenient. Clean room clean comfortable bed. great price
Sure beat sleeping on the airport floor!

Dump

This has to be one the dirtiest, most run-down hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The reviews on here have to be from the hotel owner’s family members. There is no way anyone enjoys staying here. Absolute dump! We booked through Expedia and did everything we could to get a refund just so we could book someplace else. Do yourself a favor and take a hard pass on this place…unless you like dirty walls, hallways, floors, and the smell of urine in the elevator and room. Terrible.

There is not breakfast service but there are a good selection of places to eat very close to the hotel. Subway station is waking distance from the hotel

The service was excellent. Everybody was super nice. The rooms were good. I just didn’t find it to be the most comfortable because I kept finding random strands of hair throughout the room (even on the bed) which made me question how thorough they were when cleaning. The towels were also an issue because most of our towels either had a yellow stain on them or we kept finding hairs on them.
However, as far as location went, it was great. The subway and bus station were a block or less away. If you’re heading into the city a lot though just keep in mind the 10+ stops on the train, especially when you don’t take the express train.

JFK flight was canceled and needed a place to stay for one night leaving early and was budget friendly. Overall thus met all criteria, and had friendly staff. Facilities were dated but clean. Location was great, near restaurants to make an extra night worthwhile.
