The only thing that beats the location is the friendly, supr-friendly service. While the bedroom was showing signs of wear and tear, it's more in terms of 'shabby chic'! great restaurant and cocktail bar!

It’s the best location for going to Carnegie Hall, Central Park, Time Square as well as for the convenience of the access to the Subways.

I went to this property for its location near Central Park and with a name like “Dream” that’s what I was hoping I would be doing on my vacation time! However it was horrible! The room I got was filthy, old carpet covered in filth…and hair in the bathoom on my towels. Old pillows that were clumpy and uncomfortable! The room size was small but that’s ok if everything else is maintained to perfection! Also, I had run the New York half marathon on Sunday and looked forward in my Monday morning sleep in late! Instead I was woken up with jack hammers outside my window! The hotel needs retro fit and get double pain windows so their paying guests won’t be constantly disappointed! When I complained to the desk manager they were kind enough to remove the “$80” resort fee and give me a 5,000 member points via the Hyatt affiliated program! I pretty much had a very wasted day in NYC because I was so tired! I highly recommend Virgin Atlantic as they provide five star service!

This was a terrific weekend stay. My first time at this hotel and I will likely stay again. The team here is so friendly and helpful and the room was very quiet and clean. The rooftop bar was also very cool.

Staff were excellent. Very helpful. Construction work next door was horrible. Concrete drilling very loud from 8am to 5pm. No refrigerator. Had to have on sent up. Had to go to adjacent restaurant to get ice for room. Charged facility fee but there were no additional facilities
