LOVELY PLACE TO STAY

What a lovely guest house the Ashley House Guest house is. Darren its own is a lovely guy. He welcomes you with a wonderful smile and is extremely helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for this man.
We had the fmily room which has 3 beds in and it is a large enough room with enough storage as well. The bathroom was OK too.
Something I noticed is everything is very clean. I was expecting being a guest house there might be some dust about but not here. It is spotless. I couldnt fault anything,
The breakfast are scrummy and there are also awards displayed aswell that Darren has won dated March this year.
The Ashley House is a short walk to Broughty Ferry shops ad beach, 5 minutes if that, where you can find Pubs, shops, Restaurants and coffee shops and allsorts as well as the train station.
I cannot recommend this place enough. We have already booked for next year. This place is a little gem and doe get booked very quickly with returning customers, so if you want to book it then dont hang about.

Don't believe the 10/10 ratings, they need help.

The sight of a licra clad Margaret parking her bike in the room with the laundry hanging in the same room as breakfast is being prepared was something I could live without. Margaret apparently didn't like our review 8/10 on Booking.com so made sure Darren followed instructions to delay the return of the jacket my wife left behind. We presumably missed the begging pep talk from Darren on departure, begging to leave a 10/10 review with as few words as possible!! Check it out on Booking.com it is both unreasonable and obviously rigged. Darren is obviously under pressure from her in charge. This was a last minute booking for us but you can't fool all of the people all of the time, next time we'll stay home. Expensive for what it is, just very ordinary all round. We left an 8/10 as we did park, did sleep, had a very average breakfast and got away without the pep talk. Pity really.

Had a lovely stay! Breakfast was Amazing! Hosts were very welcoming and friendly! Fantastic place to stay, will definitely return and recommend it to all!!

Excellent stage

We stayed in these b & b just one night but we had a great time. Owner is nice and friendly, room size adequate, breakfast good. Only the bed is a little too small. Overall it is a great solution, in a quiet area, with parking available in the private courtyard.
