The perfect place to switch off from the world
The service is generally outstanding and the WhatsApp concierge service is a godsend
General hotel facilities are outstanding.
We did get rain but as we were here for family time with our 7 month old and just general relaxation this wasn’t a massive issue.
Only downsides
Hotel isn’t walking distance to anything - however we got a taxi via our concierge for 300 baht to an outside food place.
Hotel food is quite expensive and the menu isn’t that extensive if you’re looking for good Thai food. In the restaurant we had to ask for a pad Thai as it wasn’t on the menu which just seems crazy to me.
One other thing I did find a bit irritating is before you arrive they email you with offers on massages, however a day later even before we arrived those offers have gone and couldn’t be redeemed. It wasn’t clear from the email that it was time sensitive or wouldn’t be available later the same day - if so we would have booked it. The link they sent which has the enhance your stay on it must be dynamic and the same link changes the offers as you get closer to your stay.
The main thing the hotel could do to improve would be the menu, or even another simple restaurant doing Thai food. I think they have tried to suit everyone a bit much and done that at the cost of a better Thai menu
Overall great location and if you really want to disconnect and switch off I couldn’t recommend it highly enough
