مكان مريح وهادئ لإقامة مريحة.
يا له من اكتشاف رائع لمكان للإقامة في فيسبي. حصلنا على غرفة خارج حديقة الجن وكنا سعداء للغاية بها. لقد نمنا جيدًا واستفدنا من وجود مكان خاص بنا للاستمتاع بمشروباتنا وغيرها في الحديقة.
تم تقديم وجبة الإفطار في فندق قريب واستمتعنا به تمامًا.
سنكون سعداء بالبقاء هنا مرة أخرى. فيسبي مدينة جميلة جدًا ونحن سعداء جدًا بقضاء ثلاث ليالٍ هناك في إجازتنا في السويد.
تم تقديم وجبة الإفطار في فندق قريب واستمتعنا به تمامًا.

طعام ممتاز
بعد dat الكامل من مشاهدة المعالم السياحية ، كنا نتطلع إلى العشاء. كانت هذه الزيارة الأولى t V rdshuset Lindg rden. جو لطيف وهادئ - الطراز القديم - خدمة ودودة واعية. كان لدينا جميعا قائمة مجموعة من المأكولات البحرية مع الطعام الممتاز قائمة الطعام الممتازة وتجربة ذوق كبيرة. آخر مطعم رائع في فيسبي التي أنا حقا نوصي. الأسعار على الجانب عالية لكن قيمته كل كرونا فردية.

Nice central hotel
We only stayed at the hotel and did not eat at the restaurant, which would probably have enhanced the experience. Their courtyard is incredibly cozy and it would have been nice to eat there, but this time it wasn't like that. We got room 10 which is right next to the bar in the garden. Of course, that brought some noise into the hotel room, but the volume wasn't too loud and we were tired so we managed to fall asleep anyway. If you are sensitive to noise, you should probably try to get a quieter room if possible.
The decor of the room was quite typical of how hotels of this class look these days. For my own part, I could have imagined something a little grumpier and perhaps a little more different in style, to fit with my image of an inn in a medieval town. I understand the choice of decor though and don't mind it per se, it's restful. I appreciated the details in the form of sheepskin, nice patterned curtains and products from the L:lilla mill in the toilet. The lighting in the toilet was okay, not as dim as it often is in hotels, but I would like it to be a little brighter. The bed was comfortable and the room smelled good.
Breakfast was taken at the sister hotel Kalk, a short pleasant walk away. It was very good! Just the right amount of selection and everything looked incredibly fresh and was delicious. I especially appreciated the granola, the hummus and the delicious teas.
Last but not least something about the situation. The hotel is very close to Almedalen and the promenade. There is no private parking, but it only takes 5-6 minutes to walk from the parking lot at the cold bath house. The only downside to the location is possibly that there is some life from the street outside. If you want to live more secluded and quieter, you should choose another accommodation.

Fantastic Gin Drinks - fantastic slow service
Sun pours over Visby. The setting is perfect. About 15% occupancy at Gin o'clock. Enters eight people, quickly seated, four drinks quickly ordered.
Two arrives after 5mins. The other two not, the remaining four waiting to be ordered. After 20 mins asking about ordering the four, the waiter responds "I am making the two, will come to you shortly". Fice minutes later, we can order the four remaining drinks. We complain about the waiting time, and are offered free snacks "to make us happy"
After 8mins (2mins/drink) the remaining four arrives. Still 20 mins after that, the free snacks are nowhere to be seen.
The drinks tasted very good, but allow for a good portion of patience (and forgiveness).
Business may be Corona-slow, but the staff does not seem to value speed of income.

The Pilgrimage
This restaurant was the setting for our first date back in 1990.
When we come back to Sweden we always try and get here. While the ownership has changed there are dishes that have stood the test of time never looking like being removed from the menu. Perennial favourites like toast skagen- my lovely wife's favourite and the Stek Plank - a shot of retro that while timeless when cooked well is delicious. It didn't disappoint. All beautifully prepared with incredible depth in a sauce perfected over decades. I had a carpaccio that was melt in the mouth beautiful, choosing glasses of Burgundy and Bordeaux to match. Just great. A visit to Lindgarden is a retro experience but a very good one...
