Three days of peace and exceptional experiences

My friend Elisa and I stayed at Evergreen Hotel in September 2024 for three nights.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Aphi who immediately put us at ease with a beautiful smile and a contagious tranquility.
The house is very clean and cozy in its simplicity. Outside there is a veranda where you can chat and share travel experiences with other guests and an area for the excellent breakfast that Brayan offered us every morning, all wrapped in an atmosphere of "enchanted jungle".
Already the same evening of our arrival we were advised and accompanied to a typical restaurant (great!) a few minutes away. From then on Nimesh, the tuk tuk driver, became our Guide to the city, as well as dispenser of advice on places to visit and experiences that without him we would never have thought to do!
The kindness, availability and attention to make our stay in Dambulla as rich as possible, can not be explained! Finally, the cost of this whole fabulous experience was really honest, so super recommended for all those who want to travel low cost.

Beautiful house, beautiful room, beautiful family

Beautiful house, beautiful room, beautiful family. Double room with A/C, well equipped and very clean. Quiet place off the main road, but close to it. Api and his whole family are very friendly and kind. Breakfast and dinner perfect.

definitely stay here

definitely the best accommodation in Sri Lanka, and I've stayed in 5-star hotels as well. Nice owners, quiet place, great breakfast. Animals everywhere, well cared for by the owner. View of the rice fields. You will love this place. The price-quality ratio is truly unrivaled.

BEST PLACE TO STAY

I can just confirm every review here. We actually only wanted to stay one night and then spontaneously extended because we felt so comfortable. The accommodation is awesome, waterfall shower, view of the rice fields, spacious and very modern rooms and breakfast and dinner super delicious. Api, the young and cool owner stood by us with advice and action and drove us personally to the bus station on departure. Price-performance ratio is unbeatable. Thanks for everything Api, it was a highlight on our trip and will be hard to top. All the best for you and your magical family. Johannes

A must stay if you visit Dambulla, best stay in Sri Lanka

We were only meant to stay a few nights in Dambulla but the experience at Evergreen Hotel made it an easy choice to stay a full week and it was well worth it! The location is situated just a 3min tuk tuk ride from Dambulla overlooking family owned rice paddy fields.This is your one stop place to experience all of Dambulla, Api is an amazing host that can provide you with all the information you need to have an unforgettable trip, be it a safari tour to see wildlife, a sunset hike, transport assistance, or simple getting some of the best egg hoppers in the city! For a super reasonable price and hassle free trip do yourself a favour and enjoy your stay with Evergreen Hotel.
