Lovely 2 night break. Reception staff were always very pleasant and helpful. Lobby smelt lovely. Room was compact but expected for a city centre hotel, cute balcony facing the street.
Breakfast was very good, cold and hot options. staff very welcoming.
Good location near the Clerigos Church.
All in all a perfect hotel for our needs.

Did not like much, bed was uncomfortable, pillows killed me, staff was confused about charges and bedrooms… not my favorite…

Stayed at this historic property 10 years ago.
Returned to enjoy over again ... was not disappointed .. convenient in historic center of Porto, close to transportation, surrounded by restaurant opportunities, shopping, close to the river. Only wish that the hotel restaurant and bar had been open to re-light those particular memories. Would like to return once the ongoing Metro expansion is completed.

Courteous check-in.
Very nice breakfast spread.
AC worked great.
Central location to walking from Sao Bento Train Station and eating places.
Stronger bathroom lighting would be nice.
Allowed us to remove fridge snacks for our things to keep fresh.

Staff was great and helpful with tips and good maps. Excellent breakfast!! The best I ever had. I will definitely go back to stay there.
