Waterrijk Oesterdam a place to relax
Dear travelers!!! Waterrijk Oesterdam is a Fantastic park with very nice stylish designed villas! If you like to relax and chill out this is the place to be if you like to be waked up by birds and love water sport . Close by Tholen which is a lovely town with nice restaurants and cafeterias or 30 min away from Rotterdam . This park is one of the newest project . Quality is the motto.
Warm welcome , beds where made, incl cleaning , breakfast can be ordered and you can rent a bike . Very helpful receptionist . To be short just top!

Nice, but totally overpriced
To be fair, the villa (No. 185) was in excellent shape, clean and well furnished.
It's the small things that spoil it. The park is still under construction, but there are at least 50 houses ready. So, why is there still no infrastructure? No restaurant, no shop!
Our villa is designed to accommodate 8 persons, but the size of the fridge could not even cope with the 4 of us. The stairs to the upper floor are far too steep to be family friendly. There are 5 TVs (4 in the bedrooms, 1 in the living room), but no BBQ in the garden. Management's comment: "You can bring your own, but if you don't take it with you on departure, we will charge you € 50,-". This is ridiculous!.
Conclusion. In the current situation with a lot of building work going on, and a total lack of infrastructure, the rent is far too expensive.

Life in the freezer
Villa 61 looked very charming at first glance. We discover shortly there is very little storage room....where to put our stuff????
But the real surprise came at night. No central heating in the bedrooms. The only warmed room was the living room. Upstairs bedroom had a bit, just a bit better temperature. You can therefore can come in the summer or make an appointment with the nearby nuclear power station.

Ijskoud welness bad
Een weekendje Oesterdam geboekt o.a. omdat er welness aanwezig is. Via de mail werd ons doorgeven dat de welness op vrijdag niet beschikbaar zou zijn. Op zaterdag vertelde de receptie medewerkster dat het welness bad pas rond 17 uur opgewarmd zou zijn. Om 19 uur had het echter nog de temperatuur van een dompelbad, het was ijskoud. Op zondag was het welness bad nog steeds koud terwijl de receptie medewerkster aangaf dat het te doen was. Hierdoor hebben wij geen gebruik kunnen maken van het welness bad terwijl we hier nou net voor geboekt hadden. Als pleister op de wonde krijgen we €20 terug. Wat een klantonvriendelijke oplossing vind ik dit. Als men open en transparant aangegeven had dat het welness bad te koud was, dan had ik daar begrip voor kunnen opbrengen. Maar gasten het gevoel geven dat je kunt ontspannen en genieten in een ijskoud bad, dat vind ik écht niet kunnen!

Zieken bedoeling daar!!!!
Hebben in de mei vakantie geboekt. Zonder een belletje of mailtje hebben ze geannuleerd om dat ze in het hotel gaan verbouwen. Let op!!! Mei vakantie. Stelletje mafkezen. Niet eens een sorry. De normaalste zaak van de wereld. Ga hier nooit meer naar toe.
