Charming Hotel with Great Location

The hotel and its surroundings are delightful. The self-check-in process and honesty form function seamlessly. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. Its location is convenient, close to both Utrecht and Amsterdam, as well as the Vecht River and Loosdrecht, making for a lovely Sunday drive.

Beautiful stylish boutique hotel with lovely spacious garden chalet.

Beautiful stylish location with a long family history. The garden chalet is lovely: spacious and bright behind high hedges, so lots of privacy. The fireplace is a real bonus, the bed is very spacious and very comfortable with nice many different pillows. The delicious breakfast is a nice start to the day.

Curious decor

This is a self-service hotel: you may well stay and never see a member of staff. (But they can be contacted if necessary.) It does feel rather odd. But they are trying to create a relaxed atmosphere.
The hotel is hard to locate, even when you are very close by, depending on the direction you approach it from. It has a lovely though quite small garden. The decor is curious and very interesting and was clearly created with significant thought. In fitting with its age - the building was constructed in 1880 - it is quite grand, for instance including chandeliers.
There is no kettle in the room although self-service drinks are available on the ground floor but at a cost. Light snacks are available there too. Payment is made via an honesty box system

Such a great place!

Excellent little hotel, an all-self service concept, with the owners and staff discreetly there for you, amazing breakfast, beautiful Location surrounded by green… you feel instantly calm and well placed. Rooms are comfortable and very clean, super functional too will definitely come back!

Jewel of a B&B in Hilversum

This is a boutique B&B, run by the Theunissen family and managed by the daughter Nadine. Rooms are clean and very confortable. Pillows, linen and comforter are of high quality. Bathrooms are remodeled and with plenty of illumination. Breakfast, which is del service, is attended and organized by Nadine. The hotel location is very convenient as several top restaurants are 5-10 minute walking distance. Only one bedroom suite on the lower floor. 15 other rooms are upstairs; no elevator.
