Good hotel and nice staff. Bar was closed very early and waiters could not give dessert at 21:30, but the dessert fridge was just standing next to our table. Heating was a bit noisy in the room. We will for sure recommend, really nice stay

Great hotel and great restaurant

After our first hike on the Mullerthal Trail we spontaneously went to the Trail-Inn and had dinner there. The trail burger was super juicy and fresh. The noodles with scampis were also fantastic.
On our second hike on the trail, two years later, we decided to book an overnight stay at the hotel. We didn't lack anything. After the tour we were warmly welcomed at the hotel and found clean rooms. This time we ate the fishburger and the spareribs. It's wonderful. The burger was nice and juicy again and the Spareribs were the best I ever ate. I could pull the bones out of the flesh without any effort. The meat was perfectly marinated and super tender. Definitely a clear Recommendation.
The next morning we enjoyed the abundant selection at the breakfast buffet. Everything was available for our demands: Coffee and tea selection, eggs, bacon, cereal, fruit, cheese, sausage, jam, scrambled eggs, croissants,...
Conclusion: We will definitely come back.
P.S. Thanks again for the dog bowl we were allowed to borrow.

Outrageous waiter

We had lunch with 9 people. The waiter was very unfriendly from the start. During the payment process, he threw the balance into my open hand despite a decent tip, even though no conflict had preceded it - an outrageous outrage!
Too bad for the restaurant, whose tasty food we have enjoyed several times.

Welcoming Inn on Mullerthal 2

Nice hotel with spacious bedrooms in the pretty village of Berdorf. The staff were pleasant and informative in this popular hotel for hikers and tourists on the beautiful Mullerthal 2 trail. We left our bags in the hotel then drove for 7 mins to Consdorf where we parked the cars and walked a short way to Scheidgen then walked clockwise on Day 1 to Berdorf. We stayed the night at the Trail Inn eating our evening meal there and enjoying the Inn’s own beer. The next morning we had a hearty breakfast, prepared our pack lunch and walked the second part of the trail back to Scheidgen. A weekend well spent!
