It took two hours very quickly. I highly recommend it.

Great location and quiet environment
I used it. There were two types of baths, so I took both in the evening. I liked the bath with the view of the garden. On the other hand, beds that are lower in height from the floor tend to lose their balance when they wake up, which I felt was a bit unsuitable for middle-aged and elderly people.
I was planning to join a tour of Horyuji Temple at 9am the next morning, but I took into account the return time of the rental car and watched it alone from 8am. Then, there was a quietness that I had never experienced at a temple in Nara, Kyoto! It was inspiring. It was an unexpected hustle and bustle as a number of school trip groups came in at 9 p.m. There are quite a few temples you can visit from 8am, which is a unique charm of the Monzen-yado.

Most of you may not care.
The room I stayed in was at the end of the second floor of the East Wing (farthest from the hotel front desk on the west side), but the Wi-Fi connection was intermittent and virtually unusable in that room. It's certainly a mechanical problem, so I guess the front desk said, "We can't handle anything, including moving rooms."
On the other hand, the same East Wing (East Wing is a separate building from the West Building by a road) could connect normally on the first floor or in a corridor a short distance away from the room, so many other rooms are considered to be connected properly (although we don't know the actual connection environment of other rooms, of course).
The receptionist is certainly correct in saying that Wi-Fi is just a service, and even if there are disconnected rooms, it is difficult for the hotel to deal with them. Yes, that's true, but since some customers are connected without a problem, I think it's not surprising that some customers feel unfair like me before the problem or not (which is just my personal opinion) (I understand that maybe one more distributor will solve the problem, but the hotel may have hotel conditions).
The TVs in the room, Netflix and YouTube, are connected completely uninterrupted, so I guess it's just a matter of wireless distribution, but they also maintain the telecom company from time to time. Wi-Fi was completely uninterrupted in the dining halls and front lobby of the western buildings, so you don't even have to worry about it when you stay in the west.
But anyway, it is true that "some rooms don't have a good Wi-Fi connection" at this time. Some of you may desperately want Wi-Fi access for work or other reasons (even if it isn't), so simply leave a note as above as a "memorandum" so that no one will have trouble in the future (although it may be insignificant).
Apart from the above, the dinner was also very delicious and I think it was a great overnight experience overall. Thank you very much for this time.
