Good value, basic but clean room, great staff, great breakfast, great location

The staff here are really what makes the difference. Stupidly I left my sunglasses and wallet in the room when we checked out. I had a Whatsapp msg within 30 minutes saying I had done so and they forwarded me my wallet by post.
The breakfast was excellent; choice of sandwhiches or sweets, and really great coffee. The checkin was simple, it's just in the cafe. Great value and great location.

10/10 perfect place to stay!

10/10 The hotel was safe, clean and warm! The bedding was made up everyday and we had clean towels. The staff were so welcoming and went out of their way to help us with everything and anything. We had breakfast included which you went to the cafe downstairs for. They said you could eat as much of as little as you liked including sandwiches, coffee, pasteries, cakes etc. The staff in the cafe were the most kind and wonderful people I have ever encountered! Thankyou so much for an amazing stay! I will recommend to everyone! Thankyou :)

Excellent hospitality

Check in was confusing. Check in at the restaurant next door. A waitress showed us how to use the lift and where our room was. The room was clean and just what we were looking for! They provided cold bottled water and toiletries. Breakfast was included and I had the best panini there out of our whole tour! Coffees were great as well! We needed to leave our luggage after check out to make a tour we had scheduled, and they were very kind and locked it up for us. I would definitely recommend them. It was a good location as well. Very kind

Good but no reception and small bed

Stayed at Domus Maggiore for 5 nights, the initial check in was a bit confusing - check in at the lottery counter in the Cottini cafe and then a lovely waitress showed us around our room. Breakfast was also confusing - we weren't sure what was included but there were an abundance of pastries to choose from, presumably you can have cakes and sandwiches as well but we stuck to a pastry each, a fresh orange juice and a coffee. The room we stayed in was nice and clean, smaller than double bed though which didn't make sleeping very comfortable for 2 of us. We had a lovely view of the church and square.. not the courtyard - make sure you don't get the courtyard view.. it didn't look very pleasant!! Toiletries, towels and water bottles provided every day. Room had wifi, air con, tv, mini fridge and a safe. Apart from the small bed - the room was really nice. There is no reception however, just a room within a big residential building. The waitresses from the cafe were really nice however and let us leave our luggage for as long as we wanted on the last day. 15 minutes to the colloseum, 20 minutes to the Trevi fountain.

Amazing!

This place was amazing, room was clean and comfortable, staff was very friendly. They were cleaning our rooms every morning. There are no words to describe our breakfasts. They have a restaurant/cafeteria on the first floor, so you can choose whatever you want. The food are fresh, all the cupcakes and buns are just perfect! The location of the guest house is perfect. It was a bit complitaced to find at first, but we called them and they came to us. The guest house is on the secont floor but you need to do you check-in at that cafeteria/restaurant. If I will come back to Rome I will choose this place again! Thank you!
