Overall a nice, if slightly odd, stay.
A slightly odd but enjoyable stay.
This is a large and luxurious private villa on a private gated estate - during our stay the owner and his wife were staying which was unexpected. They were seen in and around the pool and garden during the day. The owner was helpful, spoke English, but we found this presence a bit off-putting.
There were four staff members - the two who looked after the guests were really excellent - Elena and Rose-Maria. Helpful, charming and personable. They gave lots of tips for trips, car parking and local restaurants. They also provided breakfast which was very good with lots of home-made cakes, jams and biscuits. Top marks!
The villa is a longish walk from Mondello town centre - about 25 mins with a very busy and scruffy road to cross. In the end we took taxis each evening at about 25Eu each way.
We stayed in one of the rooftop suites which were very nice, our daughter’s basement room was a bit dark and not quite so nice. An unwelcome surprise was that no food or drink was allowed to be brought into the villa - we would normally have brought a few light snacks or crisps in for lunch. One day we asked for a light lunch to be provided which was nice but no pricing. On departure we found this was 30Eu which was OKish.

ABSOLUTE DISAPPOINTMENT
Structure in good condition with rooms located in the basement.
Breakfast not up to the price paid.
For part of the day the staff is absent
The few catering services offered are poor, inadequate and inexplicably expensive.
The location is far on foot from both the center of Mondello and the sea.
In the many hotels and B&Bs that I visited in Sicily I found hospitality and quality of a very different level. What a shame.

Not recommended
Structure about 12 minutes walk from the sea and about 30 minutes from the center of Mondello.
Good internal and external common parts
Basement rooms not acceptable for the price you pay.
We did not receive daily room cleaning.
Prices of food and drinks provided are excessively expensive for the service offered and also given the fact that it is forbidden to bring food inside the structure.
Staff absent for most of the day.
I am used to traveling a lot for work and leisure, both in hotels and in B&Bs and I would strongly advise against this establishment.

Posto incantevole Purtroppo ci siamo fermati solo per una notte in quanto il nostro programma per questo ponte del 25 Aprile prevede un giro per la Sicilia La struttura e’ molto bella e ben tenuta,pulitissima Ottima la colazione Il padrone di casa e suo figlio sono persone ospitali e molto simpatiche che accolgono i loro ospiti facendoli sentire come in famiglia.Sicuramente ci ritorneremo per starvi più a lungo

grande accoglienza
a Mondello in una villa bella e ben curata ti accoglie Ercole e soddisfa tutte le tue esigenze.
La location e' molto bella,con un bel portico ,piscina e giardino con albero secolare molto curati.
camere ampie e molto pulite.
a colazione tutto quello che desideri.
e ciliegina sulla torta cena preparata da Ercole con fantastico pesce freschissimo e pescato al sale e stuzzichini tipici palermitani.
Oggi giorno di partenza ci proporra' spaghetti alle vongole.
