Molise exists and is an excellence of hospitality

We chose this farm to spend a few days of vacation and we relied on the great reviews. We confirm the more than positive judgment. Owner and all staff were courteous, professional and helpful. The structure is cared for, clean and immersed in the nature of this quiet and discreet region but extremely hospitable and full of small villages to visit. The cuisine of the structure is promoted with flying colors: tasty traditional dishes and typical products presented with care. Wide choice of labels, as far as wines are concerned, but, if you choose the house wine, it is also of an excellent level. We will absolutely return

Stay at the «La Sorgente» farmhouse.

There are places that remain in the mind and heart for a long time. This is the case of the La Sorgente farmhouse, in Macchiagodena, in the province of Isernia. My wife and I had been there a couple of times in the past, and we returned at Easter, after twelve years! It goes without saying: excellent typical Molise cuisine, welcoming suites with all comforts, staff with rare courtesy and kindness, excellent value for money. We spent three very pleasant days, and in complete tranquility. Sincere thanks to Mr. Carlo and his collaborators.

A fairytale venue

Food in large quantities, very fair price. Stunning place, with attention to every detail... wonderful atmosphere, very kind owner. The appetizer is endless, it's as if it were a dinner in itself. Great selection of wines, excellent desserts. What else to say? We will be back!

EXCELLENT GASTRONOMY IN FULL RELAXATION

Macchiagodena is a small municipality located in the heart of Molise, within one of the wonderful green oases of the province of Isernia at an altitude of approximately 800 metres.
Here we discovered an extraordinary Trattoria – Farmhouse among the scents and colors of nature, where you can taste the true typical dishes of the region, in a serene and rural environment.
The structure is characterized by antique and rustic style furnishings, pleasant for its genre: but, above all, we found a cuisine made of local products of excellent quality.
We were able to enjoy, among other things, a varied appetizer with cured meats, hams, truly special cheeses, all from the area, tagliatelle with meat sauce and a wonderful grilled meat, concluding with a remarkable homemade semifreddo.
All cooked and served with passion and professionalism. Quality refined wines.
Here reigns kindness and friendliness which determines true serenity.
Access is by reservation only, for a maximum of 20 tables.
