Lovely place

It's a real gem of a place. We had such lovely starts to our days, having breakfast, looking out over that wonderful views of the mountains, so peaceful and quiet. The village is unique, I am glad to have stayed there and explored it. We really enjoyed having busy days out and about in places like Como and Bellagio, then coming back to the cobbled streets, ancient houses and stillness of Palanzo, it was the perfect antidote. We didn't have a car so were reliant on the buses, which were fine most of the time. We walked up and down the path a few times, it took us about 40 minutes. I will also always remember the kindness and charm of Marinella, Barbara & Nicola too - it's these kind of interactions that make trips so memorable and make me smile when I think of being there.

Een host die liefde heeft voor zijn werk, zijn volledig gerenoveerde hotel en het allermeest voor zijn gasten.

De gastheer houdt van zijn vak, doet er alles voor om zijn gasten thuis te verwennen en straalt plezier en trots uit. In dit bergdorpje kom je helemaal tot rust, terwijl je geniet van een prachtige uitzicht tijdens een heerlijke maaltijd en je rijke ontbijt. Wat een genot om hier te overnachten!

Einmalig schön und absolut empfehlenswert

Totale Gastfreundschaft an einem außergewöhnlichen Ort. Ein wunderbar restauriertes Steinhaus. Alles top gepflegt und sehr sauber.
Was man sich auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen sollte ist die hervorragende Küche. Wir haben jeden Abend hier gegessen und wurden jeden Abend mit einer soliden, feinen italienischen Küche verwöhnt. Beeindruckend der gut sortierte Weinkeller. Ebenso die sehr zuvorkommende und freundliche Art des Gastgebers. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden dies auch weiterempfehlen.

Dans un village de montagne, un peu hors du temps !

Belle maison ancienne, admirablement restaurée, dans un petit village montagnard, et accessible par des ruelles étroites, pavées de gros galets.
Belle chambre confortable et moderne ; à peine peut-on regretter que les fenêtres de celle que nous occupions ( au dernier étage) étaient un peu basses, et ne permettaient pas une pleine vue sur la forêt environnante ; salle de bains fonctionnelle et agréable. Très bonne literie.
Accueil chaleureux ( notre hôte est venu nous chercher sur la place du village, avec un véhicule adapté aux ruelles étroites, et nous y a reconduit, une fois notre séjour terminé).
Bonne table. La visite de la cave mérite le détour.

Perfecto

Zo mooi zo leuke en lieve mensen. Het is een oase van rust. Alles klopt het huis de mensen het eten. Het uitzicht is subliem. De eigenaar is ook bijzonder trots op het geheel. WiFi is top. (Ook belangrijk tegenwoordig). Niets aan veranderen. Dit is Italië . Perfecto
