Sports meetings

In the glory of a time of good sports gatherings, today it lives on youth teams and some unfortunate vacationers. Certainly convenient to the city center (a few minutes by car) and with a view of the mountains, it has nothing that should not be renovated. From breakfast to rooms, to hospitality, everything is past, dusty, decadent. The fascination lies in the gaze of those who work there and with the hardness of the years still tries to get to work.

At most moderate ---

Not really bad, but also a trail rocked and suspiciously empty (end of May 24). Major investments are probably no longer taking place. Better avoid rooms facing the road, the commuters towards Svizzera start early. The hotel once included a busy restaurant, now apparently permanently closed. Across the street is - lower down - another one, which is quite ok. Not just pizza.

The dirt

I stayed in this hotel and I also regretted it because there were many cracks both in the shower (very dirty) and on the walls.
Furthermore there was a lot of dust under the beds and also on top of the wardrobes.
very grumpy staff and terrible cuisine

Negative

A star . After traveling on a motorbike coming from Switzerland all day in the cold and snow, the shower was almost cold. Furthermore, it was a sleepless night due to cars that pass frequently given the location along the road and, furthermore, due to the constant annoying noise of the ventilation which, when I tried to call the reception, I received no response. Poor breakfast in a sad and dark room. Fairly rude owner. 120 euros for one night wasted.
The only positive note remains the good restaurant opposite.

Three stars for a three stars

The structure has seen better times, dated.
It needs to be freshened up a bit and some fire extinguishers need to be renewed (since 2017!).
Very hard bed, totally not recommended for those with back problems.
Shower with curtain, radiators not very clean.
Positive notes: good, plentiful breakfast. It's true that the owners speak badly of some customers.
The swimming pool is outside the hotel, however not far away.
Would I go back? No.
