Touchtone of excellence of a Bed & Breakfast

This place is pristine,has a special hostess and a superb breakfast. I won't stay anywhere else in Galway city; a bus, taxi or cycle/walk-in away. This location is quiet and there is a great market Joyce's, and restaurant Tom Sheridan's not far away a nice way to unwind and stroll to after a long day of work in Aran.

Wonderful place to stay

The Claremont is a wonderful place to stay, especially because of the hostess who is busy as a bee making sure everything is just right. The facility is clean and neat. The breakfast is excellent, and the cost is very affordable.

Completely Comfortable and Wonderfully Accommodating

Anne is absolutely wonderful, not only did she greet us with a perfectly brewed cup of tea and biscuits, but she made sure our room was perfect for us and talked to us about our travels. She also recommended a tour for us for the next day and made sure that we had a local pick up as well (the tour was fantastic). She also offered to drive us down to the beach so we could walk around. My mom and I walked around the beaches and was able to explore the lovely landscape and it was a short walk to the B&B. When we got back from our walk she had tea for us and put on some tv. Not only was the B&B so clean and comfortable, it is in a really nice area and is so beautiful. We stayed there for two nights, but I wish that we could have stayed longer! The rooms are so nice and it is so quiet in the B&B and in the neighborhood. Breakfast was also fantastic and ranged from tea and toast to a full Irish breakfast. Even though it is a bit of a distance from the city center a taxi is not too expensive, and there is a local bus you can take as well. I would definitely recommend staying here, the B&B is lovely and Anne is even more so.

Great place and host

Our room was very nice. Very, very clean! The sitting room was wonderful and relaxing. My wife and I arrived with bad colds after traveling for a couple of weeks and Anne made us right at home, offering tea and a place to recover. Anne drove me downtown while my wife recovered. We stayed 4 nights, and felt like home. Oh, yes and breakfast was wonderful, in a great setting.

Fabulous accomodation.

Anne meet us with a cup of real coffee and a biscuit. She gave us useful information about sights, local shops and eating places. The room was immaculate. Breakfast was generous and delicious. A quiet location, ideal for people with a car. Highly recommended.
