Good stay!

Great location, helpful staff, decent breakfast spread and large rooms make it a good pick.
The beds, however, need an urgent replacement.
Though the hotel asks guests not to smoke many of them do smoke in the rooms and that can be a challenge. I had to change my room/floor because of this issue. But, the staff was very helpful.

we felt shortchanged as it was an online booking thru your portal...we were allocated a room in the "Annex" which appears to be old and poorly maintained. though the rate charged was 6k per night, it was more like a bare bone small room. the bathroom was tiny, with minimal toiletries, flush was leaking, water from the shower area came out, service was really slow and needed reminders

Unfriendly staff and poor wifi

I stayed with my family for 1 night during Christmas time which was busy.
Positives:
Room was very clean and the amenities in the room were good. Bathroom was clean but the fittings are just OK(a bit old, but working fine). They upgraded my room due to over booking, but not much difference except a few sq.ft more.
Negatives:
(1)Firstly, front desk staff was always a bit tense and not answering to our queries, may be due to busy schedule(no excuse anyway). They were polite alright, but definitely not interactive or friendly at all and not at all helpful.
(2)Forget wifi, its almost useless. It was not working for the first 2 hours, after that it was working in some KB(unfit to use). When we called, the staff asked us to come downstairs(weird that we complained about wifi issue in the room, but they asked us to come downstairs).
(3)TV has local channels, but volume was poor for most of the channels. It was Ok.
(4)Unable to contact the reception directly from the room phone. Either they don't pick up or the call doesn't get through. You have to either come downstairs(anyway they are not helpful) or call the hotel line directly from your mobile(they will pickup).

Worth every cent

Whilst the decor is a little aged the facilities and the staff are excellent. Stayed gor 3 weeks and totally enjoyed it. The location gor us was ideal as we were attending Dr Agarwals eye hospital which is only 300m away. The breakfast, though totally focused on the Infian palet, was very nice with a big variety. The al a carte menu and evening buffet are also very good. Bed was very comfy and room clean. They need yo be encouraged to give various toiletries but they are available once you ask ☺️ overall a very enjoyable experience
