Never again Hotel Mythos in Markgröningen!
Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience with this hotel. Our hotel room was in the same building as the restaurant. On the night from Saturday to Sunday, there was a loud party (Turkish wedding or birthday?) in this restaurant, with live music at maximum volume. Despite our request to the hotel owner to ensure some peace and quiet after 10 p.m., the music continued at full volume until after midnight. During the phone call with the owner, she hardly let me get a word in edgewise, saying, among other things, that I would certainly like to celebrate a birthday too and that we shouldn't make such a fuss. And that despite the fact that there was a clear sign in the room about keeping quiet between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.! Unfortunately, we couldn't sleep a wink, even though we had resolved not to get annoyed. After the music got quieter at around 12:45 a.m., there was a loud conflict between party guests in one of the neighboring rooms, so we didn't find peace until around 2 a.m.
We found it very annoying that the landlady did not avoid this foreseeable conflict - she could have warned us about this party beforehand. It is even more annoying that the landlady had no understanding of our situation afterwards and was not prepared to make any concessions on price.
In the subsequent correspondence, she pointed out to us that live music was allowed until midnight and that we should have expected that it would be so loud in the hotel.
Apart from this annoyance, we found the room very uncomfortable as it was very cluttered, including with a mobile kitchen unit. (Photo)
The cleanliness of the bathroom was also lacking in some places (photos). Our conclusion: Never again Hotel Mythos in Markgröningen!

Other than that room was clean and tidy.
No A/C so in the summer could be critical.

Er werd wel degelijk gerookt in het hotel en omdat de ontbijtruimte dezelfde is dan het café/bar is dat niet echt aangenaam.
Lawaaierig, niet aan te raden. Te duur voor de aangeboden kwaliteit.
Van hotels in Duitsland verwacht men beter.
