Guaranteed cancellation period is adhered to without any problems

We had reserved a room at the ibis Leipzig City for a group of 10 people. However, ACCOR's online function is not designed for this group size. But when we booked by phone, a friendly employee with a French accent helped us transfer the price advantage as an ACCOR member to another couple. Unfortunately, we had to make use of the cancellation option up to 24 hours before the occupancy time for one couple. That worked smoothly. When you check in, the amount for the entire booking period is immediately debited from your credit card. The reception later noticed that the price was too high and informed us by email about the upcoming refund. This was also handled quickly. The rooms are clean and are also made up early every day. OK, you have to do without a closed closet - but you know that as a long-term ibis guest - but there is a safe. The bathroom is bright, and the hot water is available immediately when you shower. Despite being in the city center, the rooms are very quiet. They are prepared for "city travelers" and you can stow your suitcases in lockers on the day of departure. We always found a place at the breakfast buffet. The selection was continental - including salmon and pretzel rolls. We felt comfortable - and can recommend the hotel to city travelers.

Thanks for nothing

We haven't been to this hotel yet, but we booked it early with our tickets for the Peter Maffay concert at a reasonable price. Now, despite the booking confirmation we received from the hotel at the beginning, we have been turned down without being given any reason. It is likely that the prices were still very reasonable at the time of booking, and now the hotel has raised the prices significantly. We find this to be a complete disgrace.

The hotel is very well located on the edge of the old town near the train station. The most important sights are within walking distance.
The rooms are clean and very functionally furnished, shower and sink in the bedroom.
The breakfast was simple but sufficient.

Efficiently arranged rooms

Great hotel. The rooms are small, compact and very efficiently laid out. The hotel is located in the center and yet it is wonderfully quiet, only on Saturday evenings it is advisable to keep the window closed because of the nightly entertainment outside.
