a successful stay

A courteous, nice and helpful team. In the 9. Floor out back totally quiet. It's great to let the sun in with the windows open and have a coffee. A nice large and clean room, I felt comfortable. Since it is very centrally located, you can also easily get anywhere on foot or public transport.

It was OK, no food except breakfast but is a reasonably good central location for bar and restaurant choices. My room was OK, nice balcony but the bathroom sink was cracked. No ironing facility provided. Coffee machine with a couple of free pods provided. Breakfast had usual hot and cold buffet choices.

Good!

We stayed with two people in the Leonardo hotel city center in Heidelberg for 3 nights. Good bed, good shower. Carpet in the room not a fan of, as this can not be cleaned properly. We also knew in advance that this was going to be there. We didn't have breakfast here so we can't judge this. Hotel has underground parking, which is easy! Only annoying that you have to call every time to get from the parking directly into the hotel. Then we could still have with us and keep past the front door because there was not always an answer. Temperature in our room could not be controlled, it was very hot so we had to leave the window open during the day. We mentioned this at check-out and we got a day of parking free to compensate, we found this a nice concession! Friendly staff at the desk! All in all good value for money and also very good eateries close to the hotel!

Cheating

They cheat the customer in booking procedure ! They read the inquery of City Center, but give you price and reservation 7 km away the city center and hide the name of the other hotel - in brackets in small letters !! In hotel business it is called:
Criminal behaviour.

I stayed here on 2 separate occasions and have enjoyed my stay both times. Great location downtown with short walk to key places. breakfast options aren't bad and there is paid parking in a garage below the hotel
