Service was great. Room was spacious. A couple of malls nearby. The only thing I was not happy about was the bar staff attempted to charge me $25 just to open a bottle of wine that I had purchased at a liquor store nearby. Needless to say, I found a way to open it myself without paying this moronic fee. I really resent when businesses that make millions in profits off their customers, try to nickel and dime customers for silly things like this.

I stood at this hotel back in 2012 and loved it! 13 years later, it's still a great hotel but it could use some remodeling. The hotel looks the same from 2012, but the service and staff is still great. Love the breakfast buffet.

This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at el Presidente Hotel. This time, I noticed its wear and tear and its older appearance. The room I stayed (217) did not have a view as it was covered by a tree and the roof of the kitchen(?). At 5 am you would start to hear the employees carrying noisy carts right outside the window either to set up for the morning or to take out the garbage- not sure. The ac was super noisy, every time it came back on which was every 5-10 min it woke me up each time. There is no breakfast included, although there was someone serving coffee in the lobby. Why not also offer a pastry / granola bar or fruit as well. Some of us don’t need a big breakfast and if we do, we can go and order it in the restaurant. Luckily it is is centrally located, safe, and has many food options close by. The hotel needs a facelift - it’s feeling old and dated.

I stay here every time I come to El Salvador and I love this place! Close to many restaurants and malls at a walking distance. The only negative thing I can say is that the hotel needs major repairs and upgrades. The staff is very very friendly and helpful! Breakfast amazing buffet and overall dinning very tasteful! Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone !!

Lovely older hotel with great staff. Rooms are a good size and have all the amenities you want and need. Breakfast was great and kids loved the peacocks by the pool. The area is very nice with easy shopping and dining walkable distances.
