Disappointed

Scorching weather up to 27 degrees (Uk, London was record breaking heat, so you can imagine temperatures here). Could not put on air conditioning as the hotel have overall control so not accessible from your room, u willing to put the air conditioning on as they felt the season was not the hottest it could be. So no air conditioning, no fridge to cool own water bottles. Unbearable room temperature.
Water bottles not on a daily basis, however cool drinking water available in reception, when it had run out, I asked if it could be refilled to that the response was you can buy a bottle at the vending machine.
Unfortunately, I still have one night to go and have had a lovely trip with my partner in the city but wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
Also, when booking we stated it was a couples trip, unfortunately the single beds was all we could have. They did try and change us, at the cost of additional €20 per night however this wouldn’t work as we had three nights booked and they had already booked the room for another customer.
The location is great, staff are pleasant but not really accommodating. Basics like air conditioning and water on vacation are not of concern to them, once booked and secured. Need to improve!.
They have provided small fan, that goes off it the wire moves however does not cool the room down at all.

Great location - friendly staff - breakfast adequate

Positives - friendly reception team, especially Martin who helped me with a query I had during my stay. great location close to metro (Namesti Miru on green line is easiest stop if coming from airport with lots of luggage rather than changing to get to the slightly closer IP Pavola on red line), there is a little supermarket couple of doors down which is good for drinks and snacks (there is a vending machine in the hotel as well), and a pharmacy next door, excellent bakery & coffee shops on same side of the road and a market in the green space out the front.
Negatives - pillows are awful, can't open the windows, carpet in bedroom needs serious deep clean (grateful for the slippers), shower head is fixed and very high, breakfast was closer to a 3 star than a 4 star hotel but adequate

Friendly welcome is important!!

Hotel is okay, the receptionist was gruff and unfriendly. No warm welcome. The room dusty under the bed. Not nice when you have asthma. But the bed slept well. 1 pillow was a folded blanket and 1 blanket of our twin bed was short.
Breakfast is adequate.

I thought better.

Central hotel and therefore great location to reach the various attractions to see. Alas, however, for a 4-star I expected a little more. Assuming that in 5 days that we stayed there, we were cleaned the room only the first two days. Then nothing more. And this involves towels not being changed regularly, and no cleaning of the room, even when we were leaving another couple complained about the same thing. Too bad because the staff is very nice and friendly! but from a four star hotel you expect a little more
