Had a great time here at this hotel. Very clean, very professional, all employees very friendly. Great location, directly across the street from beach. Just walk across the street. Breakfast is definitely worth it because its buffet but very large options to choose from.

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The hotel is ideally placed within the Barrio Bocagrande area of Cartagena. Directly across from the beach and a wide selection of eateries, shops and bars in the vicinity. The hotel is in very good condition. The room I was allocated was very good, spacious, very comfortable and quiet. WiFi reception was good and I wide range of TV Channels were available. I used the pool area and gym each day of my visit and both were very good. I had breakfast in the hotel each morning and on a couple of the mornings (despite being down around 9.30) I found that many of the salad items had been finished or were very low which was disappointing. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly, helpful and professional.

Check in process was the worst. There were two staff who were not helpful and very rude. (Probably we saw the rudest ones! Because there were nice people at the reception during check out)The amount we paid definitely did not worth to stay there. Although they should have been upgrade us due to my status with Hotels.com, they gave a basic room and disturbed us 4 times in 1 hour with phone calls and staff's door knocking for no reason!
This was my worst experiences with Intercontinental Group hotel.

Great hotel in perfect location with wonderful pool. The corner suite was fabulous, like a one-bedroom apartment. 1.5 baths! All that was missing was a kitchenette to make it a home. Staff were great. Special mention for Jesús the waiter. It would be my first choice for Bocagrande accommodation on a future visit.
