Great Staff
Excellent! The hotel is in the best area of Cabo Frio, facing the beach of Forte, close to all kinds of commerce, besides having a great infrastructure, the service is excellent. I'll come back other times.

Weak Services
Let's start with the good and differential part:
The location of the hotel is excellent, just cross the street that you are at the best beach of Cape Cold which highlight of excellent in the hotel is just that.
To the hotel services only to regret, I will list the main poor services is possible that I forget some, pq are several:
On arrival reception, filling occupation sheet the pen?Please are still in the 19th century?.
I stayed with another person in the room and we were given a key only (Lamentable).
Functioning of the pool, this is unbelievable, a hotel in a place where the heat is predominant has time to use the pool from 10hs to 18 hs, would be funny if it was a joke, but it is reality, in the middle of summer high season.
Breakfast and lunch ok, nothing spectacular, but also not bad a 7, passes year.
This for me the biggest absurdity, one day I called the kitchen and asked for a bucket of ice, they simply said that there was no, people a daily thousand reais in a city that is pure heat the hotel not have ice? is the sum of the absurd. To complete the other day I ordered a bucket of ice and I was charged for it, aff maria. In short, if you are staying in Malibu wanting good services, forget! if it is by the location and easy access to the beach is worth it.

We love the stay
Room wide and very clean. Bathroom idem. Full breakfast and delicious dinners. We were very well served. Hotel with excellent location in front of the beach of the Forte, with beach service available to guests. Staff attentive and friendly. Wonderful pool, large with good depth for fists (2,40m), children's pool with 60cm depth and waterfall. Well-equipped recreation area, highlight for swing table. We will definitely return.

I do not recommend Malibu Hotel Cabo Frio
I always wanted to stay at the Malibu hotel, its reputation is for being one of the best in the city. I stayed from 12/28/2023 until 1/3/2024. But the quality, if it really was great at one time, simply collapsed. Breakfast is very simple, few options, stale, dry bakery cakes, few fruit options and everything repeated every day. I've stayed in a very simple inn where the coffee is 10 to 0 at the hotel. Lunch, the same thing, few options, besides the food being very bad, at dinner, which is a la carte, we ordered a stew, it was made with fish fragments, hard squid and octopus, very poorly made and expensive food. The internet almost doesn't work, I asked and they said it was because of the number of people who were using it. The pool is only open until 6 pm, which is unacceptable as the hotel was fully booked and it was high season, as well as New Year's Eve. Speaking of New Year's Eve, the hotel only offered sparkling wine, there was NO celebration. There is no beach service, chairs, sun loungers and umbrellas, they already had them, however, at the reception, they told me that they had removed them. I decided to stay another day, I had to go downstairs with my luggage, check out at 10 am, wait for 2 pm and check in. Amazingly, this happened. Anyway, a lot of frustration.

Great attempts to survive!!
We visited at Hotel Malibu several times. Despite the dedication of its manager and staff, with each visit we see it decline. The dining room has been outsourced, its food is not very varied, and some of its waiters (very old people) have terrible manners. In the low season, buses loaded with tourists appear suddenly for 2 days, in an attempt to maintain profitability.
The pool was no longer heated. Its spacious rooms, hygiene and location are GREAT.
