I slept very well!! Excellent atention.

Good attention from the staff, very comfortable beds to rest on, I really enjoyed the company of the other guests, their breakfast was very complete for the extra price that you must increase. Delicious!! Located near the bus terminal, you can walk in a safe area.

Welcoming and cute hostel

I stayed in the hostel as part of a larger group of 13 on an expedition. We arrived very early at about 3am at the hostel and the owners were very accommodating and quick to show us to our rooms and get us settled in.
The rooms are simple, clean and cute. There is a lovely communal area to sit in downstairs next to the fire which is very cosy and homely. Silvia, the owner would often bring out blankets for us when we sat on the sofas which was lovely of her. The hostel itself is very cute with an indoor open area and a lovely seating area for breakfast overlooking the communal sofa area. The whole place had a lovely feeling to it and really made you feel relaxed after the bustle of a day out in La Paz.
Breakfast was always highlight of the day with varying juices from day to day, toasties and different fruits.
The hostel is central and only a 5 minute walk to the centre of La Paz. All the staff are incredibly friendly and made us feel part of the family. Our Spanish was very limited but they made us fee incredibly welcome and would try and help us im any way possible, whether it be helping book future accommodation in Spanish or helping us set up a phone! They speak limited English but make an effort to communicate as much as possible.
On our last day we checked out the hostel to go on our trek, which had to be abandoned, and they willingly welcomed us back that night and even moved mattresses so we could stay there the night and all stay together. I don’t think you’d get this service or friendliness at another hostel.
All in all, this is the perfect little hostel to stay in La Paz and I couldn’t recommend it more!

Highly recommend this hostel!

Travelling as part of a group of 13 on a school expedition in July/August 2018, we stayed at the Milenio hostel for our first 4 days in La Paz whilst we acclimatised and explored. It is hard to find a fault with this hostel as they were so welcoming and made us feel at home, despite being a large group of whom only spoke very little Spanish.
The hostel provided breakfast every morning at a time that best suited us, (within reason) and never failed to impress us with juices, toasties and more that made us feel like we were back in England. Furthermore, when we were booking hostels for later on in the trip, particular hostels spoke no English which made it extremely difficult to book over the phone. Silvia, an owner of the hostel, was more than happy to help us with the Spanish translation and helped us book a particular hostel by speaking on the phone for us which was extremely helpful and most probably wouldn’t have been able to do so otherwise. Additionally, the hostel was always cosy with a fire lit and we were often given blankets to use in the lounge area which was a nice touch.
When we left the hostel to go onto our trek phase of the expedition, unfortunately weather and altitude sickness meant that we could not complete the trek and Milenio, despite not having enough room to take us back, were so helpful. They managed to fit us into less rooms and move mattresses so that we could stay which was amazing, considering the late notice.
The WiFi connection is okay but is dependent on what part of the hostel you are in. The beds are very comfortable as well as the bathrooms being very clean and hygienic.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hostel due to great hospitality and a fantastic location, only a short walk from central La Paz.

Closed down but they are still taking online bookings?

Closed down but they are still taking online bookings? Refer to attached photo from out the front on the street. They are doing reparations which will take a year or more, the whole place is currently gutted as of late March/early April 2018. The fool who runs the place must have forgotten to take the property off online reservation sites. Ended up having to wing it and roam the streets looking for a room for an hour or two, after an 18 hour bus ride.

Great budget hostel, very quiet

We stayed for about a week, and it was definitely competitive in terms of price for couples. The room was big and beds comfy. Very quiet and pleasant, close enough to the centre. The wifi dropped in and out a bit, but it was better than some other places we have stayed in (including the hotel opposite, where the wifi was appalling). The manager is Israel is very helpful and accomodating. Great hostel!
