good for short stay

very good location in centre, friendly staff, good service, rooms small but convenient, I got single with renovated bathroom, breakfast in form of sets, tasty, very good price / quality ration, recommend for short stays

Hotel Belarus, Brest

Leaves much to be desired, although it looks good. Located near Sovetskaya Street. Upon arrival, there was no toilet paper in the room; there were 2 towels hanging in the shower, which were not changed. On the 1st floor there is a room where you can iron, 3 irons

You’ll survive for a night or two

Stayed while on a short visit to the region with a friend.
Room - The beds were okay and generally better than most budget Belarus hotels. The bathroom however was awful. They need some serious renovations because it was falling apart, dirty and had bugs!
Price - was one of the cheaper options and for the price I can’t complain. If you’re on a budget I’d recommend the hotel.
Location - in a reasonably central part of the city with parking facilities.
Overall you need to realise you get what you pay for.

good enough for a night stay / нормально для ночевки

Spent 1 night; typical "soviet" hotel, not a new/luxury one. However, provides everything you need to sleep 1 night. I did not notice any air-conditioning/heater, though... but it was quite. TV in the room was very small (we did not even turn it on), but was a tiny fridge; in another room there was a big new flat TV, though :) Located not far from the center, ~10 min walk. There is a restaurant at the 1st floor, and a bar.
Останавливались на 1 ночь, типичный "советский" отель. Однако, есть всё необходимое для того, чтобы переночевать. Хотя, я не заметил кондиционера и/или обогревателя. Было тихо. В комнате был крошечный телевизор, и холодильник, зато в другой комнате телевизор был очень большой. Отель расположен недалеко от центра, около 10 мин ходьбы. На первом этаже есть ресторан и бар.

I stayed there for 3 times - than stopped, it is not worth the money it costs

Well, the prices the democratic, but from my point of view the staff is not controled at all. When I asked in the morning for a hiar-dryer I was told it was not for free. Too previous times I was given it for free like in all the rest normal hotels. Two fat ladies said that probably the staff who let me do that was too much kind and laughed. Crazy old women.
