HAAS Hotel world class I get it a five star rating.
The HAAS sits at the foot of a beautiful mountain range and 10 meters from a great cross country ski trail, cozy rooms respectful cautious helpful staff and great meals.
HAAS is also located a few minutes from the free ski bus which takes you only 5 fives to the ski lifts . After a day of on the slopes our rooms were clean and had a fresh aroma in the air, all the rooms had great views from there balconies we had three rooms so I had the chance to seem them all.
Dinners were a good mix of vegetarian and meat and started with a full self served salad bar and ended with a different desert each night.
The owner was very good and added a great personality to his establishment he often stayed after hours if we wanted to have a coffee or a lite drink at the hotel bar after dinner. He was also instrumental in helping us recover a bag we left at a restaurant on the slopes and ensured we made it to our transportation when we were leaving by driving us and our luggage free of change to our ski bus.
If you in Bad Gastein and you are looking for a hotel with world class service friend staff and great location the HAAS Hotel is it I give it 5 stars and will recommend it and stay there the next ski vacation.*…

Good 3 star hotel in the upper end of Gastein valley
Otherwise, the bathroom in our room was well renovated and clean, room heating is strong, double bed was big, all rooms have a balcony.
The breakfast buffet runs from 7:30-9:30, the dinner from 18:30-20h.
The choice for the breakfast is rich enough, scrambled eggs never ran out. But the coffee machine does not make a good coffee. I suppose, the reason is not the machine, but cheap coffee in it.
We had half board, which means a four-course dinner. Good salad buffet, soup, main dish and dessert. For the main dish, you can choose between meat and vegetarian dish. The portions were big enough and of good taste, but nothing superior.
The hotel has excellent calm location, big parking and there are only 20 metres to enter the cross country Bockstein slope, 2 and 5 km long. The short, 2km track, is illuminated in the evening.
There are more reasons, that we will be back to the Haas hotel: kindness of the staff, calm location, big parking and scenic view from the balcony.
