Lovely personal and peace-filled experience

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The property is lovely and extensive: there are lots of places to sit, relax, and enjoy the view/peace. The owner is delightful and welcoming. The staff is kind and effective. My bed was great as was breakfast. I appreciate their having me!

Stay away!

Avoid giving money to this company. They are dishonest and unwilling to return deposits. I initially booked two retreat dates and was told I would receive a refund if I canceled within a two-week window, as stated in their refund policy for September 2024. I canceled one retreat in November 2024 and was fully refunded. However, when I canceled the second retreat, they are now refusing to refund me. At the time of booking, the website clearly stated a two-week cancellation policy, and staff verbally confirmed that full refunds would be given within this window. Since then, the company has changed their policy and updated the website, but they never informed me of these changes. Now, they are withholding a deposit of over $1,000. While I understand policies can change, it is the company's responsibility to notify customers of any updates, which they failed to do in my case.

Terrific Vacation

We stayed two nights and attended a Southern Gospel Concert in Tampa. A friendly Bed and Breakfast with good food and wonderful riverside views. Kris Heartland is a Christian host who is helpful and interested in your vacation. She is a financial expert and has written several books.

Relaxed, calm and enjoyable

On this five acre property we felt as if we were on a private Island ️ on the banks of Alafia river. Beautiful majestic oak trees and landscapes. It was a fabulous relaxing four day stay. My family had an wonderful time. Kudos to the staff in particular Alina for taking great care of us.

Wonderful stay!

Five stars all the way! We cannot say enough about this beautiful resort. So peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast is delivered each morning to our door. Warm, homemade muffins, orange juice, yogurt parfait, boiled egg and fruits. Everything was perfect, will do our best to come back one day!
