For a low budget no frills motel it was fine and I felt safe staying there

Once i got into my room, i was met with the strongest mold/mildew smell. The floor boards were bending under my feet. This was all over the room, though some spots were much worse. The smell was so bad that i had to leave the door and window open until sun-down. Even went out and bought deodorizer. The toilet had feces on it in multiple spots. There was a dehumidifier in the room that was completely full. The bath tub had hair on it. I will never stay here again.

This is a basic room with fridge, microwave, tv, and small hair dryer.
Apparently the plumbing had been worked on and not run since then so the water was coming out spitting and brown. I called the front desk and they said just to run it and it would clear up. It did, but I'm thinking maybe they should have done that already so the customer doesn't have to when all they want to do is take a nice hot shower when they get in. There was also a very soft spot in the floor.
Overall, I got what I paid for... a place to sleep. Check-in/out was super easy, the bed was super comfy, area was quiet.
