Great room, clean and comfortable! Stopped to break up a long trip and would def stay again

Check in the front desk clerk was rude and unwelcoming, truly dislikes his job. The carpet was nasty and dirty, the bed felt uncomfortable.

Building and facilities are worn down but clean. Some noise from the interstate. Staff was professional. The bed really sucked. Price was decent.

Came in and signed for room. Went to room to find it wide open, some sort of painting going down the hall. Ask the person working if was OK to go into my room and was told should be. Finally settled in for a three night stay. Next day, no room service provided. Had to ask for and pick up toilet paper and towels. For my entire stay, no room service was provided. I have never stayed in a hotel under these conditions. Some of the staff seemed to doing a great job but it takes a team.

The lamp in the bathroom did not work. Very few lamps in room in general. Desk staff wanted to take the table lamp from the bedside and put in small bathroom. He said no one could fix until next day. Did not accept. He said he should talk to manager and left. No other rooms he said. We went down with all luggage. Said we wanted to cancel and book another hotel as was late and we wanted to go and eat. Then he said a man is coming to change the lamp. He did not seem to understand (or did not want to) that we wanted to cancel. We went back with luggage and a man came. He said he had blocked off the room for sale earlier as knew it was not ok…it would just take 20 mins. he said. We went out and was fixed when back. No
compensation or anything offered- Room was small said on hotel.coms side that 28kvm. Not true. Also said there is a bar. Not true. No bar.
Just one night stay at least.
