No problems with stay. Staff niceand welcoming. Very friendly, really nice people

The room service was good but the door keys needs to be changed. it frustrates when I try to lock the door I had to struggle to get it properly lock.

Wouldnt go back

We stayed here for 3 nights ,all though i would say the food is good the pub accomadation lets its self down
Over 3 nights the towels nor the bed linen was never changed .
The tea and coffee was never repelished .
They didnt do breakfast but we knew this but a couple of biscuist would have been welcome
The pub side of things didnt get any better we had two wine spristers at £7.50 severd by the woman behind the bar
Then we had another severd by the landlord at £11, so something was wrong there
£16 for a bottle of red wine and the food, tho it was nice was well over priced .
But saying that we was there for cycling which was fantastic

Mum's Wake

We cannot thank Kai and the team at The Riverside enough for the way they look after us following Mum's funeral. The buffet lunch was excellent, the teas and coffee were available when we arrived for those who didn't feel the need for something slightly stronger. They looked after us all so well and made to feel so welcome.

Hidden Gem

How lucky have we been to find this amazing Gem. We have been trying to find the perfect place to stay to visit my parents, and this is it
The owner, staff, and even the locals made us feel so welcome
Our room was clean, tidy and offered everything needed, including the best cup of tea! I went to bed on the first night, in a beautiful bed, and slept for 12hrs solid amazing.
As for the food....from the side salad to the Sunday lunch, it is amazing and out of this world.

The single room has the boiler in it which does create a small amount of noise so guests that are light sleepers may wish to book a larger room for their stay.
