Worse second vic and condition
Hotel puts biggest speaker you can imagine which os as loud as explosion. You can’t hide yourself anywhere from this music till 23:00. They ignore all your proposal to make at list less annoying.
You should keep yelling loud to have any dialogue while you are in the territory

Like staying in the palace from the Shining
So here is what its like... its an enormous resort with large palace-like buildings that have rooms, meeting rooms, spa facilities, indoor pool, etc. They have AMAZING gardens, absolutely gorgeous... millions of roses, and they have a man-made lake, which everyone calls the sea. For Tajikistan, this is one of the only places people can come and swim in an open body of water or enjoy a pool, so it is a somewhat famous place. But by Western standards, it really did remind me of the Shining... large palace... large gardens... creepy vibe. I had a suite, which basically comprised of 2 rooms: a small living area and a bedroom with ensuite bath. I also had a balcony, though the door did not close properly, so I basically just closed my bedroom door every night just in case the balcony door opened and for safety reasons.
The bed was super uncomfortable... I could feel every spring in that bed. There was also no AC or fan in the room. Other than that the room was fine I guess, had a TV, had a safe, had some basic furniture. There was also a kettle and cups, but no coffee or tea or complimentary water. I bought some tea and coffee from one of the little shops, so plan ahead and bring with you... especially if you like coffee. I had the hardest time finding a decent cup of coffee; it is all cheap Nescafe packets as everyone drinks tea. (The coffee issue is Tajikistan-wide fyi, bring your coffee with you if it matters to you.)
OH, and wifi is only in the lobby of the main building... not accessible in any of the rooms.

Interesting...
The bed was hard and you can see the springs through the mattress pad and sheets, but surprisingly it didn't prove to be uncomfortable.
The piped elevator music around the hotel grounds from dawn until dusk made you feel as if you were permanently in an elevator, or like you were Number 6 in the village (Patrick McGoohan reference); with Peruvian pan pipes versions of such classics as stranger on the shore and we are sailing by Rod Stewart.
The staff couldn't be more accommodating and helpful, but then I found this to be typical of the Tajik people who were all very friendly, welcoming and kind to a fault.
The food was terrible by western standards, served from a buffet type cafeteria set up, but food choice was pretty typical for the culture, so this is a matter of taste.
Sadly ( very sadly) I didn't get to use any of the spa facilities at all as I visited on business and spent every moment working.
