In line with the DOT Advisory No. 16 s. 2021 or the Operational Guidelines on Tourism-related Activities for the Implementation of the Alert Levels System for Covid-19, please take note of the following policies and restrictions during MGCQ: Alert level 2 starting February 1, 2022 until further notice: 1. Permitted Guests In compliance with the updated guidelines from the Department of Tourism, Hop Inn Hotel Tomas Morato may accommodate the following guests under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ): Alert Level 2 • Staycation • Business Guests • Authorized People Outside of Residence (APOR) except Health and emergency frontline services personnel • Long- staying guests • Locally Stranded Individual • Participants in Essential Meetings and Social Events as defined under DOT-DTI JMC 2021-001 Special Note: Please be advised that Hop Inn Hotel Tomas Morato is only DOT-accredited (Department of Tourism), and not BOQ-accredited; thus, Health and emergency frontline services personnel (e.g., Doctors, nurses, medical technologists, etc.) cannot be accommodated for the time being. 2. Guest Requirements A. Staycation / Leisure Guests • All guests must be fully vaccinated. (Fully vaccinated means: two (2) weeks should have already passed after the 2nd dose) • Each guest will be required to provide 1 valid government ID along with their vaccination cards. Full details of the 1st and 2nd dose must be shown (i.e date, brand, lot number, and signature). • Guests below 18 years old shall be required to present swab or saliva-based RT-PCR test conducted within forty-eight (48) hours prior to check-in. Negative result must be presented upon arrival at the hotel. • Each room can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child only. • Note: Guests coming from Areas under Granular Lockdown, Alert level 5, and those under mandatory quarantine are NOT ALLOWED to check-in B. Business Guests Guests whose travel is solely for the purpose of work or business in the interest of their employer or company are required to present any two (1) of the following documents upon check-in: • Current Company ID • Endorsement Letter from the company • Appointment letter or similar to prove nature of travel • DTI Certificate of Registration • SEC Business Registration C. Authorized People Outside of Residence (APOR) APOR guests are required to present relevant documents as applicable. APOR includes the following: • Government officials and government frontline personnel • Duly authorized humanitarian assistance actors • People traveling for humanitarian reasons • People going to the airport for travel abroad • Stranded passengers looking for hotels • Anyone crossing zones for work or business permitted in the zone, and going back home 3. Room Occupancy All rooms are good for one guest only. In case of two-person, guest sharing a room must both be fully vaccinated. All guest must be registered, and must present 1 valid government ID together with the vaccination card during check in. Kindly present at least one ID of the following per person/guest: • UMID • Driver’s License • Barangay ID/Certificate • Voters ID • TIN ID 4. Health and Safety Measures In line with the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) protocols to reduce risk of transmission of COVID-19, housekeeping services are limited in any community quarantine status. A. Guest Arrival Protocols • No Face Mask, No Entry Policy • Contact tracing – Guests are required to provide information for health declaration and contact tracing purposes B. Safety Features • Staff follows all safety protocols as directed by local authorities • Hand sanitizers in guest accommodations and key areas • Process in place to check health of guests • First aid kit available • Sanitary kit provided in guest accommodations C. Physical Distancing • Cashless payments highly encouraged • Physical distancing rules followed • Screens or physical barriers placed between staff and guests in appropriate areas • Single-room air conditioning for guest accommodations (all rooms) D. Cleanliness and Disinfection • Use of cleaning chemicals that are effective against Coronavirus • Linens, towels, and laundry washed in accordance with local authority guidelines • Guest accommodations are disinfected between stays • Guest accommodations are sealed after cleaning • Hand sanitizers (at public areas) E. Food and Drink Safety • Food is safely delivered to guest accommodations • Delivered food is securely covered
