Operating hours of the public baths: 06:00 - 09:00; 16:00 - 23:00 Please note that guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities. To use the hotel's free shuttle, please make a reservation at time of booking. Please note that guests will have to check in by 17:00 to enjoy dinner. Late check-in is possible, but guests will have to notify the hotel in advance. Alternative meals including shabu shabu or vegetarian meals are available upon request. Please contact the property at least 3 days in advance.

An accommodation tax is required in Kyoto from Oct 2018. Guests (both adults and children) are required to pay JPY200 per guest per night if the room rate per night is under JPY20,000, JPY500 per guest per night if the room rate per night is between JPY20,000 and JPY49,999, and JPY1,000 per guest per night if the room rate per night is JPY50,000 or greater.
