A pleasant experience!

My wife, my baby daughter and I stayed in Filoxenia Hotel for 5 nights.
The good: The room was clean and spacious enough for us and our baby girl's crib. We also had hot water and free Wi-Fi, which is not a given, when one stays in one-star hotels. The view from our room (128) was good and it was quiet, despite the very windy weather. The hotel is located 1 minute away from the central square of Chios, one minute from the pedestrian zone and one minute from the popular seaside cafe-bars and restaurants.The best part was Ioanna and Eftihia (the girls at the reception), who were very freindly and helpful and accomodated all of our needs!
The not so good: The rparking of our car, was a bit of a problem, but we managed. We used the non-parking pavement right outside the hotel for our short stops and the free municipal parking (400m away) for the overnight parking. Also the stairs were a bit tiresome to climb, especially since I had to carry our baby girl and all of her belongings :D.
Overall, it was a great stay and we would recommend it to travellers who need a simple room to stay, right at the center of the town of Chios.

Old fashioned cozy hotel close to everything

Nice old-fashioned hotel very central in the city of Chios close to the port and bus station. Very affordable breakfast can be bought for 5Eur. Breakfast is served at a nearby cafe. Helpful staff. I was given a code for the entrance so I could rest in the lobby even though the reception had not opened. The rooms were well cleaned but the towels were the stickiest. Small balcony and responsive. There is no lift so the luggage needs to be carried as the reception and the rooms are not at street level.

Short chios trip

The hotel is at the town centre and the location is quite good. The rooms are small and not well decorated. The stairs of the building is not suitable for elder or disabled people. There is almost no lobby to sit and rest. The quality does not fit with the price.

Best location for 50 EUR

Its our first time in Chios !
This hotel has excellent location ! The top of the top ! In 2 minutes of walking you are at the port, 3 minutes you are the shopping street, 4 minutes and you are the bus station !!
We have a sea view from balcony .
Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Lobby is vintage and we feel safe here.
Staff is very nice !
If you are at Chios and they have a room don’t even doubt ! Just book it ASAP!

Merkezde güzel bir pansiyon

deniz kıyısına iki paralel sokakta bulunuyor. konumu çok merkezi. Çalışanlar gayet güleryüzlü. Odalar biraz küçük ama temizlik iyi.
Akşam 11 - sabah 7 arasında dış kapı kilitli, size verilen şifre ile erişim sağlayabiliyorsunuz.
Araç ile gidecekseniz otoparkı bulunmuyor. 350 - 400 metre yukarıda kamuya açık, ücretsiz otopark var. oraya park edebilirsiniz. O otopark genelde gün içi dolu oluyor ama akşamları boş.
Kahvaltı imkanı var benim gittiğim zaman kişi başı 5 € idi.
1 haftalık sakız turu için gayet başarılı bir pansiyon.
