Perfect Honeymoon Getaway in Moorea
Awesome hostel in Moorea! We felt so welcome and cared for despite the language barrier. Our hosts brought us to get food the first night and asked us if we needed taxis for our excursions. Rooms are super cozy and secluded. And the entire property is stunning! You can pay about $20 for a full breakfast spread in the mornings as well!
Definitely consider staying here for better pricing and more authenticity than the big resorts in the island. Felt like home!

Home away from home in Paradise. Highly recommend.
I greatly recommend staying here for all types of travelers staying in Moorea looking for paradise and immerse in the polynesia culture. It's just like in the photos, actuallly better. Great value for the price!! The hosts are amazing and take great care of their guests. The breakfast is fresh, delicious and I still miss it. It offers a rich variety of food for everyone, and a joyful opportunity to meet other families, couples, and solo travelers. I loved my bungalow in the green jungle and only 15 min walk from the best beach of moorea. The location was perfect. The bed is very comfortable and the decor of the bungalow matches the paradisiac nature of the island. I felt at home and even extended my stay. I traveled for years and this was exactly what I was looking for in my dream vacation in French Polynesia. I fell in love the with the place, the island and felt like family cared for from the hosts Lucie and Philippe.

Jungle Paradise with the Warmest Hosts!
We had the most amazing day staying in the heart of the jungle on the beautiful island of Moorea in French Polynesia. The place was absolutely adorable—surrounded by lush greenery, peaceful, and so full of charm. Our hosts were a wonderful local family who made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived.
Even though there were some language barriers, their warmth and kindness spoke louder than words. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The shared kitchen was a lovely touch and allowed us to cook while chatting and sharing space with other travelers, adding to the sense of community.
The location was also super convenient—close to everything we needed but still tucked away in a serene, jungle setting that felt like a true escape. We couldn’t have asked for a more memorable experience. This stay was pure magic, and we will never forget the genuine hospitality and beauty we found here.

Nous avons passé une journée inoubliable au cœur de la jungle sur la magnifique île de Moorea, en Polynésie française. L'endroit était absolument adorable : entouré d'une végétation luxuriante, paisible et plein de charme. Nos hôtes, une famille locale formidable, nous ont accueillis chaleureusement dès notre arrivée.
Malgré la barrière de la langue, leur chaleur et leur gentillesse étaient plus éloquentes que les mots. Ils ont fait tout leur possible pour que nous soyons à l'aise et que nous disposions de tout le nécessaire. La cuisine commune était un vrai plus : nous avons pu cuisiner tout en discutant et en partageant l'espace avec d'autres voyageurs, ce qui a renforcé l'esprit de communauté.
L'emplacement était également très pratique : proche de tout ce dont nous avions besoin, tout en étant niché dans un cadre paisible au cœur de la jungle, une véritable évasion. Nous n'aurions pas pu rêver d'une expérience plus mémorable. Ce séjour a été magique, et nous n'oublierons jamais l'hospitalité authentique et la beauté que nous avons trouvées ici.

Very good stay in Haere Mai Te Fare
Very warm welcome, in fact warm is the more appropriate word.
Huge room for our couple but very good for a day's stay.
Car essential because the lodge is a little far from the road but strategically located not far from everything.

Hidden Paradise
Wonderful stay with a large room and very friendly staff, located in a hidden spot that is a bit of a challenge to get to, but you get used to it very quickly. Breakfast was also good and something for everyone. Would definitely like to go there again
