Stunning location, perfect for the northern lights and winter activities
We did both the husky sled and snow mobile tours and they were fabulous! We would definitely recommend!
A shout out to staff members Rima and Kimo who went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
Some constructive feedback. It seems the accommodation is better suited to couples staying for just one night. We stayed for 3. This meant every time we wanted to go into town we had to pay for a taxi which was very expensive. The accommodation would be well served with a regular shuttle to the city. Also, the bucket shower in the sauna, whilst novel, is not ideal for multiple nights. A solution to this could be installing shower cubicles in the main bathroom adjacent to the reception.
All in all a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend!

A fantastic and unforgettable experience.
The most helpful staff and the nicest cabins.
This experience should all try.
We ate in the restaurant which is also very very delicious.
Remember to book a table in the evening.
The breakfast is also delicious. A little too loud music.
They have many experience trips.
We tried Husky driving and snow scooter
It was all worth the money.
An unforgettable experience and we will definitely come back.

Beautiful stay in an aurora hut at the Nova Galaxy village
We know there would only be a composite toilet and no shower facilities. I am used to having a wash in the sauna so this was not new.
We were given instructions at check in to book the Sauna and we were even able to have a night sauna which was very needed after a late northern light tour! Just make sure you have plenty of wood to keep it going!
We were also lucky to see the Northern Lights one night albeit it was at around 3am!
The only downside was that there was no lunch and no shop nearby so you had to make sure you had snacks or something to eat to get through as a 80 euro round-trip to town doesn't seem worth it. I would recommend to set up a small selection of things for visitors to buy at reception like chocolate bars, crisps, drinks, Muesli bars etc
However, I have to say both breakfast and dinner were lovely so hats off to the chefs! Both cooked on open fire and so delicious. The waiter we had on both nights (from New Zealand) was also super lovely!
We did the snowmobile safari which was great. I'm 26 weeks pregnant and they did say it was not recommended due to bumps and possible accidents however i felt super safe in the sled and it was really smooth! I wouldn't risk driving one but my husband did and he had a great time! M
All the staff there were wonderful and always happy to help and the transfer option from Nova skyland was great as we were then able to go spend time at the santa claus village before our evening flight.
