The hotel was good value for the price. Not the best breakfast we had on the trip. Enjoyed the rooftop bar. Very generous.

The hygiene is very poor, the room is not cleaned at night. We signed up for a day trip recommended by the hotel, but ended up waiting in the car for 2 hours before it started.

Provide us very low quality pellow. I requested extra pellow. But they didn't give us extra pellow. Only you can rent pellow, but you have to pay 15 Brazilian real. I have requested 1 cup of hot water.
Nothing is free. You have to pay 15 Brazilian real.
Most of the hotel they give electric kettle. But they don't have any. They should improve their service..

The front desk staff during check in assume a lot just by looking at you and the way you’re dressed. They got frustrated and display a quite unacceptable attitude when you ask them questions they are not used to. They made me feel discriminated which is just not cool at all.

Average hotel for the region, average price. Large room with comfortable bed, though the A/C unit is fairly undersized and takes 1-2 hours to chill to any reasonable temperature. Shower had a general heating issue (affecting other rooms) and the front desk didn't take us seriously when we reported it in the afternoon (understandable-ish, who takes hot showers in Rio anyway? Other rooms didn't report it) and only realized something was really wrong far later when it was already evening and it was completely cold -- maintenance would only be performed the next day.

Please inform Arosa Rio Hotel of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. According to the Brazilian Federal Law 8.069/1990, minors under 18 years old cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. If the minor is accompanied by an adult other than his parents, it will be necessary to present a written authorization for the minor to check into the hotel. Such authorization must be notarized and signed by both parents. All minors under 18 years old also need to present a valid ID with photo, to prove their identity and that of his/her parents. This must be presented even if a minor is accompanied by his/her parents.
